World's Haunted Places“I turned to him and he reached for my hand. It would have been easier to walk away.    But the wind still blew around us and the house still stood.”― Kate Chisman, Creep

I still can’t believe that my husband gifted us a trip to explore world’s most haunted places on our twenty fifth wedding anniversary. When I asked him if he really wanted to punish me for being at fault in the past years then he said no, and still loves me for being what I am. It is just a thrilling way to share closeness at the time of real jolt and spend time in drowsing.

Believe me the scary places that we thought only mentioned in our text books actually exist and best at giving you a pure hair raising experience…

Bhangarh Fort, India

Head over to Alwar in Rajasthan, India for a ghost experience that reveals the dilapidated fort namely the Bhangarh Fort. Erected in 1573 on the edge of Sariska Tiger Reserve it exposes a terrible love saga of a wizard who fell in love with the princess of Bhangarh. However, its remnants can be well observed from the ruins of several temples, palaces and smaller living units.

Entry to the fort is banned after sunset and before sunrise.

Aokigahara, Japan

You are way braver than your friends if you have the audacity to visit Japan’s globally notorious place recognized as Aokigahara. Situated right at the foot of Mt. Fugi it is a Suicide Forest that still terrifies the traveling-enthusiasts. According to lore it dates back to the time of famines in the country when families couldn’t feed themselves and thus abandoned and died of starvation.

It is heard that this place has encouraged over 108 people to commit suicide. So, it is always better to consult police before you plan to die.

Manila Film Center, Philippines

If hell exists anywhere in the world, it exists here only. It is a typical mysterious castle, looks more like a creepy forest that contains old ruins but with a saddened past. The outrageous past of the site reveals that near 169 workers killed during a tragic construction accident at 3.a.m. To add to the misery no rescue teams came for nine hours.

The place still looks haunting probably because of several dead bodies that are engraved within the site.

So, it is time for all dare devils to pack their bags and test how genuine these horrifying tourist spots of the world prove to turn them blue?
