Charity projects
In addition to traditional crisis support services, such as 13 11 14 and online chat, Lifeline is embarking on introducing services and programs that will reach more Australians in a time of crisis, and importantly, disadvantaged demographics.
  • Text4Good – Australia’s first text-based crisis service, to be introduced in 2018.
  • safeTALK in Schools – preparing secondary students to be suicide-alert.
  • LGBTI – a study to examine the phenomenon of suicidality in LGBTI people.

We aim to make a real difference by being innovative in suicide prevention: empowering people and communities to #stopsuicide.
