Win A Family Pass For 2Added On: 01st March 2015
Simply visit the Sovereign Hill ‘memories’ website, upload a photo of yourself taken while participating in the Costumed School program and write up to 100 words about your memory of the experience.
Sovereign Hill has been chosen as the first museum outside Europe to host the 16th International Symposium on School Life, where attendees from around the world will be able to witness first hand how schools were run back in the 1850s.
To co-incide with this event, Sovereign Hill will be staging an exhibition of photos and memories of people who have attended the Sovereign Hill schools program over the past thirty years, and are looking for people to be a part of it.
“Children should be seen and not heard!”
“Children only speak when spoken to.”
Do you remember being told these things as a child? Did you get to dress up and become a child of the 1850s, like thousands of others participating in Sovereign Hill’s costumed school program?
Simply click here to visit the Sovereign Hill ‘memories’ website, upload a photo of yourself taken while participating in the Costumed School program and write up to 100 words about your memory of the experience.
At the end of your entry, use the codeword FamilyCapers, and you’ll go into the draw to win a Family Pass for 2 adults and up to 4 children valued at $122.00, and have their photos and memories on display at The Gold Museum, Ballarat, as part of the exhibition held in March.
